How to Delete Your Stratify Account
As a Stratify app user, you can request the deletion of your account and associated data through the following steps:
Method 1: In-App Deletion
- Open the Stratify app
- Go to Settings
- Select "Account"
- Tap on "Delete Account"
- Confirm your decision
Method 2: Email Request
- Send an email to our support team
- Include your registered email address
- Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- We will process your request within 48 hours
Data Deletion Process
Data That Is Immediately Deleted:
- Personal profile information (name, email, phone number)
- Profile picture
- Location information
- Service listings and reviews
- Messages and communication history
- Skills, education, and occupation history
Data That May Be Retained:
- Transaction records (for legal and accounting purposes)
- Dispute resolution records
- Information required by law
Note: Transaction records and legally required information may be retained for up to 7 years as required by Nigerian law.
Third-Party Data
Please note that while we will delete your data from our systems:
- Paystack may retain payment information according to their policies
- Google Play Store may retain basic app usage data
- Backup copies may be retained for up to 30 days
