How to Delete Your Stratify Account

As a Stratify app user, you can request the deletion of your account and associated data through the following steps:

Method 1: In-App Deletion

  1. Open the Stratify app
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Select "Account"
  4. Tap on "Delete Account"
  5. Confirm your decision

Method 2: Email Request

  1. Send an email to our support team
  2. Include your registered email address
  3. Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
  4. We will process your request within 48 hours

Data Deletion Process

Data That Is Immediately Deleted:

  • Personal profile information (name, email, phone number)
  • Profile picture
  • Location information
  • Service listings and reviews
  • Messages and communication history
  • Skills, education, and occupation history

Data That May Be Retained:

  • Transaction records (for legal and accounting purposes)
  • Dispute resolution records
  • Information required by law

Note: Transaction records and legally required information may be retained for up to 7 years as required by Nigerian law.

Third-Party Data

Please note that while we will delete your data from our systems:

  • Paystack may retain payment information according to their policies
  • Google Play Store may retain basic app usage data
  • Backup copies may be retained for up to 30 days
